Food Service Worker Supervisor
DUTIESo Serves as direct supervisory official for all patient food service areaso Provides patient care appropriate to the cognitive emotional, cultural, and age specific needs of the adult and/or geriatric patient.
o Planning and coordinating and directing work operations in the Food Service Unit in cooperation with other food service supervisors.
o Directing work activates of the Food Service Unit to assure daily meal service is including tray assembly thermalization, tray delivery and retrieval , dish room operation, ware washing, nourishment preparation and delivery and salad and dessert assembly.
o Effectively carries out provision of VA Regulations, Medical Center and Nutrition and Food Services Policies and Procedures and the Labor/Management Agreemento Evaluates employee performance and completes performance appraisals for Food Service Workers.
o Interviews and recommends candidates for employment and/or promotion.
