Furnace Operator

Job responsibilities include:
Load and unload baskets, containers and furnaces, preparing loads for heat treat and preparing customer product for shipment.
Assist in the operation of all heat treating equipment as instructed
Operate material handling equipment in compliance with all safety requirements
Maintain clean work areas and orderly storage of fixtures, product and material handling equipment
Wear personal protective equipment and follow safety instructions as required
Perform other duties as needed
Job requirements:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to lift 50 lb. parts and other items from floor to waist on a frequent basis while protecting lifted items from damage.
Must be able to stand for several consecutive hours without rest, with frequent bending and reaching.
Must be able to tolerate a hot work environment, even at times when summer outdoor temperatures combine with residual heat from furnaces.
Must be able to walk within and between areas frequently and climb stairs occasionally.
Must be able to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.
Must be able to retain instructions sufficient to perform repeat tasks successfully and with minimal supervision.
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday &Wednesday 11:30pm (evening before) - 12:00pm (Noon)
Plus every other Sunday, depending on workload.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
