Systems Engineer needed for a 12 month contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Erie, PA. For the right candidate this position has the potential to become permanent based on performance.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Collect requirements that aid design of complex locomotive and train control systems
- Develop subsystem design specifications, failure modes and effect analysis, DFSS Scorecard, and system validation specifications and conduct design reviews per the design Tollgate process
- Perform calculations and simulations to measure and optimize system parameters such as fuel consumption and in-train forces.
- Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers
- Document and communicate results of technical data generated
- Work closely with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and other teams to resolve production, performance and reliability issues in a timely manner
- Share engineering information and promote open dialogue
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering (preferable Electrical or IT) from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of three (3) years of related industry work experience
- Experience with Matlab
- HIL or experience or knowledge with closed loop control systems
- Wireless communications (R232/420), Ethernet - data Communications
- Able to read schematics

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
