The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) is essential to providing daily care to our residents in our Residential Living area.
The necessary care a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) provides consists of daily living activities, bathing, dressing, shaving, etc.
Our Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) are a part of the team of healthcare providers who take care of our residents.
Shifts currently available:
2nd shift evenings (3 p - 11p) and 3rd shift (11 p - 7 a) Patient Care Assistant (PCA) candidates must have a high school diploma or GED.
WE NO LONGER REQUIRE THE COVID VACCINATION TO WORK AT SAINT MARY'S HOME OF ERIE.
If you join the Saint Mary's team as a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) and you successfully complete your 60 day introductory period with us, you will be enrolled in the nurse assistant training at HVA and then can take the state test to become certified.
We will cover the cost of the training program and the testing.
