Responsibilities:
1.
Technical Service a.
Apply products b.
Troubleshoot after sales issues c.
Initiate Corrective Action Reports after consultation with the President or Quality Manager d.
Troubleshoot product issues e.
Maintain Tech Service Database f.
Generate Warranty reports g.
Participate in the monthly Warranty meeting h.
Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Order Entry to resolve warranty issues i.
Key outcomes:
i.
Increase customer satisfaction j.
Reduce warranty claims 2.
Assist the Quality Engineers with:
a.
Maintenance of the QMS b.
Calibrations c.
Internal audits d.
Supplier Quality e.
Nonconforming Materials 3.
Special Projects:
a.
Special Projects as assigned by the Lead Quality Engineer or Quality Manager Technical Knowledge, Skills &
Experience:
1.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2.
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills 3.
Must be comfortable talking with suppliers 4.
Understanding of Mathematical concepts 5.
Ability to take basic measurements (Calipers, Micrometers, etc.
) 6.
Strong follow-up skills 7.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes 8.
Familiarity with manufacturing technology 9.
Familiarity with corrective actions 10.
