Summary:
The Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) has a need for a contracted Part-Time, Title I Reading Teacher, working with grades K-4.
This contracted position will be for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year.
This position is responsible to plan, provide, and implement skill-based interventions to students that will result in students achieving academic success.
The Part-Time Title I Reading Teacher will work collaboratively with professional staff to implement a quality reading program that meets the needs of students needing intervention by delivering small group instruction within established curriculum guidelines.
This position will also be responsible for responding to a wide range of inquiries from student's parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.
Required
Qualifications:
PA Elementary K-6 Certification Preferred
Qualifications:
PA Reading Specialist Certification.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
