Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for an Accounting Clerk position.
This is a 1st shift position with a pay rate of $17.
50/hour.
Accounting ClerkShift:
1st shift 8am-5pm w a 1-hour lunch Monday-Friday Pay Rate:
$17.

resume submittal to the company and a face to face interview Candidate must pass a drug screen and be open to a criminal background check Candidate must have experience working as an Accounting Clerk for a manufacturing company SUMMARY Responsible for general accounting functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Daily posting of Accounts Receivable checks and credits and taking deposit to the bank, if necessary Perform daily invoicing functions Conduct routine collection calls on past due accounts Process credit memos and generate monthly credit memo report Maintain Vendor Certificate of Insurance records and issue Company Insurance Certificates to Customers, upon request Issue Company W-9 to Customers, upon request Order and dispense office supplies Assist with month-end closing process Assist with the annual fiscal financial audit Filing Assist with special projects Perform any other duties as directed by the Controller or upper management personnel Regular and consistent attendance QUALIFICATIONS Basic Accounting or bookkeeping knowledge Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook Basic knowledge of computer/keyboard Professional attitude Basic knowledge of office equipment such as copiers, printers, fax machines Basic knowledge of ISO/TS and automotive standards EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus two or more years' experience in an office environment; Associates Degree preferred.
Experience working in a manufacturing setting as an Accounting Clerk Recommended Skills Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Audio Equipments Automotive Industry Computer Keyboards Fax Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
