Snap-tite Hose is the leading US manufacturer of high quality lay-flat hose for use in fire suppression, liquid transportation over long distances, agricultural slurry and irrigation and military deployment of fuel and water systems.
We produce the BEST lay-flat hose as if lives depend on itbecause they do! Required Skills and Abilities include:
o Must have mechanical aptitude for understanding and using machines and tools o Electrical skill and responsible for upkeep of buildings and machines.
o PLC skills to maintain backups, documentation & software revisions as part of maintaining computer-based control systems o HVAC skill to diagnose maintenance problems on equipment and ability to perform repair on equipment o Basic plumbing skills to problem solve to fix or repair leaks, blockages or broken parts of plumbing system Job responsibilities include:
o Schedule all maintenance required on buildings and equipment.
o Schedule maintenance employees.
o Perform all maintenance supply ordering.
o Track progress on all maintenance projects.
o Make sure all safety projects get scheduled and completed in a timely manner.
o Perform required maintenance on buildings and equipment as required by manager.
o Maintain a preventive maintenance schedule of all general equipment to include compressors, boilers, and heating equipment.
o Perform machine, electrical and plumbing maintenance as well as construction of equipment as directed by leadership.
o Be able to read and understand blueprints, drawings, layouts, and schematics within the scope of the job requirement.
o Be able to operate all machines and equipment in the maintenance department and to fabricate machine parts and special adapters as directed by manager.
o Assist in the training of less experienced technicians to develop their skill and knowledge of the operation.
Required
Experience:
o 5
years as Maintenance Specialist or other higher level maintenance personnel; Prior experience manufacturing is required o Preference given to experience with similar products or markets.
